As their namesake indicates, this is a cover band for the hall of fame band, Led Zeppelin. This group of ladies certainly put on a good show and their music is very good. If you like Zeppelin, Rock & Roll, then you gotta hear these ladies rock! And they do ROCK!

I was invited by the band, Starroy to come to one of their shows (Sticky Fingers in Little Rock) and shoot some pictures during their performance. I was looking forward to going because my Stepson told me how good these guys were...and I had just received my previously defective camera back from repair that very same day...I wanted to see how it performed as well.

The good news is that both Starroy and the camera performed VERY WELL. They are a very polished band that appears to have a lot of fun during their shows. You can visit their website to hear some of their music. STARROY WEBSITE.

Ah...Jefferson Starship! Brought back lots of '70s memories and did the songs pretty well. I thought some of the shots of the band leader, Paul Kanter turned out pretty well.

Another concert by NextEx Productions, this one in the small town of Beebe, AR. Bates has a voice similar to the Conway Twitty style and was a real crowd pleaser. The concert was opened up by 13 year old guitar phenom, Luke Williams (from Beebe, AR).

Eric Burdon and the Animals was the premier band and performed all of their hits and put on a pretty good show.

The Wildhog Music Festival always books a 70-80's type rock and roll band to play their bike rally.

The Bellamy Brothers were the headliner for about 8 bands that played prior to them taking the stage. Sonny Foster of NetEx Productions was the promoter and did a great job in taking care of the bands (and the photographer... :-)

Willie Nelson at the Electric Cowboy

In February of 2004 Willie Nelson came to the Electric Cowboy in LittleRock. I was the only photography allowed in to shoothim...unfortunately, I was also the ONLY photography to have the flu atthe time...so I spent about an hour shooting Willie and then left evenafter he played on for about 2 hours.

I was told after theconcert some people were given a tour of his bus, but looks like Imissed out. I would love the opportunity to shoot him again...maybethis time without the flu!
